Leanne Andree has mediated numerous disability, life insurance, critical illness insurance, employment and advisor liability claims. Leanne's mediation practice specializes in the resolution of all aspects of the life and health insurance world, with an emphasis on life and disability litigation. Leanne has completed the Advanced Mediation course at the Harvard Negotiation Institute.

Leanne brings to the mediation table a deep knowledge and understanding of the life and health insurance industry as a result of her 10+ years as Assistant Vice-President and Senior Counsel in the litigation group of Clarica/Sun Life Insurance in Waterloo. Her practice focused on both group and individual insurance claims, including disability, life, reinsurance and all aspects of advisor litigation.

Leanne is highly regarded by legal counsel and clients on both sides of the table. She is known for being able to put any claimant at ease while earning the confidence and respect of all parties. Leanne's success rate is a testament to her professionalism and effectiveness.

Leanne is a past president of the Canadian Corporate Counsel Association, a member of the National Executive of the Canadian Bar Association, and a past president of the Canadian Bar Association Young Lawyer's Division. Leanne is the recipient of the Queen's Golden Jubilee medal as a result of her volunteer contributions to the legal community.
